I placed a bid on a motorcycle but recently discovered damage to my home that I need to pay for. There’s a 500 deposit required within 24 hours of winning. The bid ends in six hours. I have my account linked up to paypal. Is this deposit going to be taken automatically or do I have to make it happen? Really I just want to retract the bid but according to ebay it’s too late now.

Ebay has those various fee structures, and since the auto auctions are so expensive, can one be cancelled without penalty?
