I am about the list a car on Ebay and I wanted to see what everyone thought about what time of the day and which day of the week is the best to end the auction? The auction is in the USA – central time zone. It is a high end car (more than k)
Can you also explain why you picked the time and day you did.
I’m looking to buy the Infiniti M35 AWD with at least the Technology Package (Which basically includes the Journey Package plus the Bose stereo, CD changer with MP3, eight speakers, Nav system which is a must, and rear monitor).
New, I’m looking at the low to mid K’s. Used through a dealer I’m looking at mid to high K’s. Third party, I’m slightly better at the mid K’s.
I know I can get the same car through an auction in the low K’s. I have access to Manheim’s website but don’t have a dealers license, nor do I want to go through the trouble. I’m looking for somebody with a dealers license and who knows what they are doing to give me a hand picking this up at an auction. If it’s worth your time, then it’s worth ,000 dollars to me in cash. I’d rather pay somebody a grand to help me out than to keep trying to hash out a better deal through a dealership or third party.
Thanks in advance.
Is there any licensed dealer who can buy a jeep grand cherokee off the auction for me. I am located in new jersey.
If you’d like to help me out and make profits, please email me
I dont necessarily want to go to the auction. What i meant was.. If you are a toyota dealer you would not be interested to buy a jeep. But if i guarantee you that i will buy a jeep if you win it off from the auction, well I will be a one extra customer for you.
I would buy those ca5rs at the auction , but I will not do business in the USA. All will be for export .
I am in search of my next Mustang and each one that I find online I do a Carfax history report on. All but one Mustang I’ve found to have been sold at an auction. It doesn’t state the vehicle ever being reported in an accident, but everyone tells me that’s a red flag. That it was likely in an accident and it was fixed up and sold to the dealership.
I find it odd that every car I find has been sold at an auction. Would they really all have been in accidents or even fleet cars?
Couldn’t it be that they just got repoed due to financial situations?
Would you get the car if it had been sold at an auction previously?
I’m in the new orleans area and I am looking to buy a good used car. I want to go to an auction but have no idea where one is. Please help. Do you guys know of an auction I can go to or just any place where I can buy a good used car. I’m looking to spend no more than 3,000.
When dealers buy cars from an auction how much are they paying for a vechicle compared to how much they can resell that vehicle for. EX. I recently bought a Jeep at KBB value from a local guy for 00 and when the deal was done he told me he bought it for 00 from the auction. That is 55% more than what he paid. Is that a typical profit that dealers expect to see when they purchase a car from the auction?
I’m not worried about how much more I paid…but are the cars bought at auction usuallly problem cars? Again, what type of price does a dealer expect to pay compared to how much they can resell it for?
I would like to buy and sell, maybe, 6 to 10 cars a year. Do I have to have an actual dealer’s license in order to attend the dealers’ auction? Or is there a way around this?
I want to buy a car from an auction, however, I do not know which site is trustable and reliable. Any suggestions?
