I’m turning 16 soon and I want a car but I’m on a budget. I need a cute-ish(doesnt even have to look that good) car, safe for teens with good mileage that isn’t too expensive. Anyone know of any?

I’m just looking around and I saw a 1998 Honda Civic and they are pretty customizable, but Hondas are slow. So something that is anywhere up to 10 grand but can be tuned up to be fast. Any ideas you guys? & Thx a lot for the advice
Ok so I’m 16 and I’m still training to get my permit because I had to wait till the summer. My parents are going to get me a used car if I pay half of it, are there any cheap but nice looking cars that you would reccomend, I’m trying to convince them to get me a new one but I will still have to pay half. I preffer Volkswagon Jettas, or cars similar, so if you know of any cheap but nice looking cars please post a link to the pic & price detail.

i really need to find a cheap used car as soon as possible.
There are auto auctions in the LA area, cars that come from repos etc. They say this is where the dealerships go to buy a lot of their cars for their used car lots. But just ordinary people go to these as well. I’ve been looking at a site called www.seize.com & others. I want to get another car, they say people can get nice cards for like 60% or more less than a used car lot at a dealership. Is this true? I’m going to go to one next weekend just to watch, I just wanted to know if anyone here has any direct or had a friend buy one at an auction before. thx
My truck has a few problems: needs tires, check engine light keeps me from getting it inspected, no heater, needs a new driver side door, but overall has been a great vehicle for several years. Selling it would not bring blue book value due to the condition. If I buy a cheap car I’m concerned about what new hassles that may bring. I know my truck’s little noises & usually don’t have a problem making adjustments to fix. Is it wise to move on?
